1. All entrants to any Vixen 101 contest both imply and agree to participate in the contests and obey the rules by their participation in the contest
2. Vixen 101 cannot be held responsible for any difficulty in communicating with the radio station by telephone or other means, or for the non-delivery, delay or loss of any entry. Proof of posting is not acceptable as proof of delivery.
3. In the event of competition entries being judged by the station, the judges’ decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. Certain prizes may require the winner to be 18 years of age or older. For certain prizes Vixen 101 may require that a parent or guardian accompany winners under 18 years of age to collect their prize.
5. In the event of the Company receiving more than one correct answer, names shall be entered into a draw and a winner/winners shall be selected as appropriate.
6. Vixen 101 reserves the right to announce the names and addresses of competition winners, record and broadcast winners’ contributions and supply details of participants to clients of the station for promotional purposes.
7. Vixen 101 will notify the winner of the arrangements for collection of the prize where applicable. Any prize not claimed and/or collected within 14 days of first notification shall remain the property of Vixen 101. Inability of winners to accept the prizes will result in forfeiture. While Vixen 101 will use its best endeavors to ensure that the winner receives the prize within a reasonable period of time it shall not be responsible for any failure to do so. Prizes must be collected from a central collection point nominated by Vixen 101 unless stated.
8. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes. Vixen 101 retains the right to substitute a prize with another similar prize of equal value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond Vixen 101’s control.
9. All competitions are intended to be fun without the intention of creating legal relations. Entry does not create an enforceable contract.
10. Vixen 101 reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice.
11. The decision of Vixen 101 is final. No correspondence will be entered into concerning Vixen 101’s interpretation of the rules.
12. Vixen 101 reserves the right to promote competitions involving the use of either a short code text number , where under normal circumstances each text message will cost the sender 25 pence and standard network charges may apply; or a premium rate dial in automated answering service; where calls will cost the caller 10 pence per minute from a BT landline. Call from other operators and mobile networks may vary.
13. Members of Vixen 101, and immediate families are not eligible to enter or win.
14. If the prize includes travel, accommodation, entertainment, or a special event, winner is responsible for all taxes, expenses, and gratuities not expressly included in and as part of the prize. Winner agrees to accept all blackout dates, space availability requirements, subject to availability etc. established by Vixen101’s prize partner(s), such as hotels, airlines, trains, ships, etc. Winner agrees that acceptance of any trip taken as a prize does so entirely upon their own initiative, risk, and responsibility. If the trip requires travelling outside of the United Kingdom, the winner, upon winning the prize, must have a valid UK passport. If the winner does not have a valid UK passport upon winning the prize, the trip may be forfeited. The winner is responsible for obtaining any necessary insurance that may be required.
15. Winner is responsible for all costs associated with travel to any venue or event for which a prize was awarded, unless otherwise specified.
16. Winner shall solely be responsible for all applicable taxes or additional charges on any prize awarded.
17. Winner agrees to indemnify and hold forever harmless Vixen 101, their promotion agencies, officers, members, affiliates and assigns for any injuries, accidents, misfortunes, or causes of action arising from or in connection with participation in any contest and/or acceptance of the prize.
18. If concert or other ticketed event has been awarded as a prize and the concert or event is postponed, rained out, cancelled, or for other reasons beyond our control does not occur, Vixen 101 will not be responsible for replacing the prize.
19. Contest/Prizes subject to regulations and laws and is void where restricted or prohibited by law.
20. Winners must use their true, legal name when playing contests or claiming prizes and may not win any contest under an assumed name. Winner will be disqualified and prize(s) forfeited if they are found playing under an assumed name or alias.
21. Vixen101 is not responsible for any disconnection of a participant’s telephone call due to local or long distance phone company’s failure, power company failure, or other act of god.
22. Participants of any competition may be limited to the number of entries per person / household. Winners may / may not win more than 1 prize. The decision is at the discretion of Vixen 101
23. Vixen 101 retains the right to amend these rules and regulations at any time for any reason.
24. Vixen 101 reserves the right to impose additional rules to those stated above, or to amend the rules for specific competitions. The entering of any competition shall be deemed an acceptance of these rules.
