Also on the show, Thomas Feeney, the new PR and Media Manager at York Theatre Royal, will talk about life after the pantomime at St Leonard&#8217;s Place as the production closes tonight. Caroline Horton opens the new ArtERY season at Beverley&#8217;s Longcroft School this week with her one-woman show &#8211; we hope to catch up with her on tour.<br />
Also, we hope to speak to craftspeople from the area whose work will form an exhibition at Pocklington in the Spring.</p>

Join Tony Barker, our arts correspondent, as he embarks on a three-date panto tour. The uniquely British entertainment features heavily in the Western Wolds this month. He will be broadcasting from Shiptonthorpe Village Hall on the final day of Snow White and the Disco Dwarfettes, between 12 and 1.<br />
Next week, the focus shifts to North Cave where the Cave Players will be preparing for two final performances of Puss in Boots and, the week after, Tony will be at Stamford Bridge for their production.<br />
Congratulations, by the way, to the Holme Grown Players of Holme Upon Spalding Moor for selling out their debut panto production with two weeks to go.</p>
<p>Sunday Brunch (9.30-12 noon) &#8211; Join Rachael Campey to hear about the 2012 walking festival being planned by Pocklington Walkers are Welcome, plus estate agency and Rotary Club member Chris Clubley provides an update on his two passions.</p>

<p><strong>The event is on FRIDAY 27TH APRIL at Burstwick Country Golf which is one of the most upcoming golf courses in East Yorkshire. </strong></p>
<p><strong>The event is open to individuals and teams of up to 4.  It will comprise of breakfast and registration, followed by 18 holes at Burstwick Country Golf. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Prizes and Trophies will be presented for the winning team, hole in one, nearest the pin and the best dressed!  This will take place in the newly built function room at Burstwick Country Golf, along with raffles, auctions and other prizes.</strong></p>
<p><strong>During the day there will be opportunity to meet a P.G.A. professional who will be able to offer advice and tips to players.</strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Entry Fees:</span><br />
For a limited time only prices are &#8211; £25.00 per person or £100.00 for a team of four players, including breakfast and green fees, but to take advantage of this offer <span style="text-decoration: underline;">you must register before the 30th March 2012</span>. </strong></p>
<p><strong>It promises to be a wonderful day for everyone taking part, with the added bonus of having fun and winning prizes. All the money raised through this event will support health and social care charity Sue Ryder to provide end of life and long-term care to people living with complex care and support needs including cancer, dementia, Multiple Sclerosis and acquired brain injury.</strong></p>

<p>Phil Gilbank from Pocklington RUFC will be joining us to provide an update on the season so far down at Percy Road and we&#8217;ll also be providing an update of the local football scene via the East Riding Counties League with our local sides in action.</p>
<p>On the professional front we&#8217;ll be looking ahead to Championship Action for both Leeds United and Hull City as well as the forthcoming week&#8217;s action in the Premier League and all the other sporting news.</p>
<p>There will also be a special presentation to Phil High as well as a major announcement concerning Vixen 101 Sport.</p>
<p>Of course it wouldn&#8217;t be Thursday without plenty of banter, a quiz, transfer window gossip and what will Steve Hall have had for his Tea?</p>
