The Fox’s Den Show – one of the best!

All UK Community Radio Stations were asked to submit three clips of shows for consideration for inclusion into an hour-long podcast, Pick and Mix – The Best of Community Radio. Each clip had to be from recent shows and could be no longer than 10 minutes long.

We are pleased to announce that they selected two of the clips we sent in of The Fox’s Den Show, which featured studio guests David Ward Maclean and Vinnie & The Stars. The remainder of the podcast features chat, interviews and plays that were submitted by other stations around the UK.

To hear the podcast, Click Here. The podcast can be listened to on-line or downloaded for future listening.

This is their first episode, so we will be submitting more clips from The Fox’s Den Show for future consideration.

100

This coming Friday, 18th February, The Fox’s Den will be celebrating its 100th show. We will be joined in the studo by several musicians, whose names will be revealed later this week. Bill has not missed a single show and for the first year the show was co-hosted by Jools Slater. Due to personal reasons, Jools couldn’t commit to further shows, so after a couple of weeks where Bill presented alone, the irreplacable Jools was replaced by Dave ‘Catweazle’ Henderson, who often brings in his son, Dan ‘Kittenweazle’ Henderson to make the coffee.

Last night’s show attracted listeners as far away as New Zealand, so The Fox’s Den is truly a worldwide show.

All shows are podcast and are on the podcast site to download for two weeks. Click here to visit the podcast site.

We also have a very active Facebook page – www.facebook.com/thefoxsdenshow.
